Shipping

Shipping is available within the continental United States via USPS or UPS. At this time, we are not able to offer international shipping. All orders ship from South Carolina. Shipping prices are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your purchase.

We understand that you are eagerly awaiting your order, so we do our best to process and ship all orders within one business day. We process and ship orders from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (EST), Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Please note that orders placed after 12:00 p.m. on Friday may not ship until Monday morning the following week. If you need your order by a particular date, please choose an expedited shipping option at checkout.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email from The Global Baby with your tracking number and shipping information.

Please note that The Global Baby is not responsible for missing or lost packages due to carrier error or incorrect shipping address supplied with the order. However, we will do our best to help you recover any lost package and/or file necessary claims with the shipper.

Delivery

Are you (or your gift recipients) located in Charleston, South Carolina? We’re happy to provide free delivery in Charleston, Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, James Island, and Johns Island for orders over $100 (after any discounts). Contact us at hello@thegobalbabyshop.com prior to placing your order to discuss delivery options.

Order Cancellation

Should you place an order in error or need to modify or cancel your order for any reason, please email us at hello@theglobalbabyshop.com as soon as possible. If your order has not yet been processed, we will do our best to help you change or cancel your order. Unfortunately, once an order has been processed, we are not able to cancel it.

Returns and Exchanges

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you may exchange or return it for a full refund (less shipping costs) within 14 days of receipt. Returns must be in their original condition, unworn and undamaged, in the original packaging, and with tags still attached (if applicable). Items that are shipped back to us more than 14 days after receipt or are not in the condition in which they were received are not eligible for a refund. Sale items are not eligible for return.

To process a return, please contact us at returns@theglobalbabyshop.com. We will email you a return label, the cost of which will be deducted from your refund. Please repackage your return in the original shipping box or envelope, affix the return label, and deliver the package to the shipper. You will receive an email from The Global Baby when your return is received and processed. Refunds will be processed to your original form of payment.

Gift Returns

If you need to return a gift to The Global Baby, we are happy to make an exchange for you or offer you a store credit for the value of the returned merchandise. Because we understand that gifts are often purchased ahead of time, we offer a longer return window of 45 days for gifts. Please note that if the gift giver has requested that a special message be added to a book that you receive, the book is not returnable.

Taxes

The Global Baby does not collect sales tax for orders shipped outside of South Carolina. Depending on the state in which you live, you may be responsible for paying sales tax on online purchases with your tax return at the end of the year.
