It employs more than 170 artisans in northern India who produce all products by hand, including spinning and dyeing the cotton fibers, using ancestral manufacturing techniques. Lorena Canals is committed to socially responsible labor practices and prides itself on using natural materials, including natural, nontoxic dyes. In addition, it supports a number of education initiatives in northern India.
